Meet Michael
Michael is dedicated to transforming education by developing innovative products that provide students with a superior learning experience and equip them with the essential mental and emotional skills to achieve their full potential and follow their passions. He currently serves as a Product Manager at a company committed to creating a superior alternative to college through apprenticeships. Before Multiverse, he worked as the National Program Director at a non-profit that aims to equip students in under-resourced schools with the skills, experiences, and connections to enter the tech industry. When asked what drives him, Michael shared, “I am committed to the liberation and empowerment of our people.” Michael is proud to have taught middle and high school English in his hometown of Newark, NJ as a Teach for America corps member.
Meet Chris
Chris was inspired to enter the classroom by his older sister, and has spent the majority of his career in the education and impact space—whether it was in the classroom through Teach for America, or improving access to upskilling. He currently serves as a Director for Go-to-Market Strategy at one of the largest K-12 curriculum developers in the country. He specializes in bringing products to market, sales enablement, and competitive intelligence & benchmarking. He is grateful to have taught Pre-K and Kindergarten in the incredibly diverse Harlem community.

Michael is a seasoned software engineer with a rich decade-long journey across various industries, from luxury retail to global tech giants, always at the forefront of groundbreaking software solutions. Michael’s professional saga began at companies like Neuberger Berman and Direct Energy, where he honed his skills in backend development and application optimization. His later tenure at Google focused on ad delivery systems and increasing revenue with user satisfaction. Currently, Michael contributes to the tech community through open source projects and mentorship programs.
